InsurancePro is free to read and is paid for by advertising. This page explains how that works and how we keep advertising separate from the guides.
How advertisements appear on this site
Advertisements on InsurancePro are served by third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense. These networks decide which ads to show based on the content of the page and, where permitted, on information from your browser and your previous visits to this and other websites. We don't choose individual advertisers and we don't see your personal information through the ad network.
What advertising does not affect
- Advertisers do not review or approve our guides before publication, and have no influence over what we publish.
- We do not write guides to promote any advertiser, and an ad appearing next to a guide is not an endorsement of that advertiser by us.
- Some ads shown on this site may be for insurance companies, agencies or comparison services. Those are advertisers like any other; we don't endorse them, and we don't verify their claims. Treat any ad as you would an ad anywhere else, and check that any insurer or agent you deal with is licensed in your state.
Affiliate relationships
InsurancePro does not currently participate in affiliate programs and does not earn commissions when readers buy insurance. If that changes, we will update this page and clearly disclose any affiliate link at the place where it appears.
Your choices about advertising
You can limit personalized advertising through your Google ad settings and through industry opt-out tools. Our privacy policy explains the cookies used for advertising and how to manage them.
